Get clicks.

Promote the fear of law enforcement to support an agenda.

Encourage illegal behavior for the sake of making money.

“Hey Siri, I’m getting pulled over.”

Interesting thing…it’s illegal to record someone without their knowledge (this article takes you to WA, specifically, but you can scroll to the top and see all states) and none of these articles mention that fact at all. They don’t even recommend to check local laws to find out what is legal and what isn’t.

Looking at all the articles, they even read very similarly, like they are written as a press release and the authors just changed some words around and hit publish.

Only one article cautioned about using a third party app (this is not an official app or feature from Apple) but only in passing. So, they are promoting an app or feature that is developed by a third party and there is almost nothing about the data the feature may collect. Lack of concern is interesting. What are they getting for their promotion?

This stuff is irritating because it is playing into and promoting the narrative that we need to fear the police, which is incorrect. Plain and simple fear-mongering to justify clicks.

Everybody records, now. Again, TPTB want any and all surveillance. They want people to do it, even if against laws, so that they will become comfortable with it. Sure. You can record anyone you like. Laws be damned. But…WE will record YOU…too.

This is good. It also explains why we have the problems we have, today, regarding cop behavior:

More federal control over the local communities…the idea of local control just doesn’t exist any longer.

Yep. Honestly, in order for this s*** to cease, there needs to be secession, everywhere…break apart into regions and break the back of the central power.

It’s funny you say that. There was actually a movement at one time that would divide the two states of WA and OR so that the west sides of the state (the liberal & more populous sides) and the east sides of the states (the conservative and less populous sides) and combine them together.

Not surprised. There are secession movements all over. The top half of CA wants to split off from the bottom. Texas still sees itself as a former nation and, having lived there, I worked in the building that housed their state archives. They still maintain all of their former country’s documents and their Texan currency. Back in January, West VA told some VA counties that, if they wanted, they could join West VA (wouldn’t be the first time). Hawaii is an interesting case. They claim they were pulled into the union against their will. They were basically annexed and overtaken. I have a first cousin living in Alaska. You think Alaskans give a crap about the lower 48?
