Joe Biden would like to have it both ways

“If you give a climate arsonist four more years in the White House, why would anyone be surprised if we have more of America ablaze?” Biden said during a climate change speech. “If you give a climate denier four more years in the White House, why would anyone be surprised when more of America is underwater?”

Hey, Joe, if more of America is under water then less of it can be on fire.

I am no sure if Joe is aware, but that’s how the whole fire suppression thing works. Firefighters put water on stuff (not to mention the fire) so it won’t burn.

The current president might not be the sharpest tool in the shed on certain things, but do we really want to replace him with an even duller tool? Not just another dull tool, but one that will truly be a tool to all things Socialist and Communist?

Maybe Joe should stop being a tool.

Vacation, Day 5:

The last day of official vacation.

It has been one for the record books. Not so much that it was epic but more like it was about as uneventful and boring as if I was sitting at home on the couch. Oh wait! I was doing that…mostly.

Today’s plans? More of the same. The sun is out but should I be optimistic about sticking around? Come on, do you know me by now or what? LOL Maybe I’ll go for a drive and reacquaint myself with some countryside I have seen in a while. Maybe not.

The only thing that isn’t the same today is that it is my youngest’s birthday. She is 17 today. There was already a Zoom birthday party for her in the middle of last week (queue the cancelled vacation plans this week), so I am not even sure I’ll get to see her today other than virtually. That sucks, but as she is getting older with more responsibilities so I know it will become more common regardless of a lockdown or not. Still, not sure what today holds for that and her.

I am pretty sure I’ll end today with a fire and a beer. Can’t decide if the fire should be in the fire pit or just set the house on fire and enjoy the fireworks from the front lawn.

This was the most uneventful and worst vacation ever.

-less

I found one more thing that needs to have -less at the end of it. To remind you of where I am coming from on this, let’s look at other things that are -less…

Anything that is gluten free is pretty much tasteless.

There are smokeless cigarettes (or so I am told. I am not a smoker).

Supposedly Red Robin has “bottomless” fries and Olive Garden has “endless salad and breadsticks.”

Our home are going wireless on just about everything.

There is a crisis in our country for the homeless.

We all want to live carelessly and fearlessly, but often end up feeling helpless and hopeless because of the state of the country.

Anyway, hopefully you get the point.

I discovered one more thing over the weekend that could use a little -less at the end. A campfire. Not specifically the fire, but the smoke. How about we figure our a scientific way to make those things smokeless?

Yes, I know, if you make them hot enough they smoke less (oh, look! It’s possible!) but that also requires, in many cases, a larger fire and when you live in a city that isn’t an option. Plus, no matter what you do, there is going to be smoke (unless it’s one of those fake campfires made of gas…) and maybe a little is OK to start with so you have a partial feeling of woodsiness. Anyway, smoke gets in your eyes and it hurts. It gets in your lungs and makes it hard to breathe.

Smokeless campfire. Sounds good to me.
