Emergency state

The Washington governor is the most ridiculous ever. This isn’t an over the top, exaggeration type statement. It’s a fact. Case in point: He still has his “emergency powers” and will not let them go. The state legislature doesn’t even have a way to check his power (not surprisingly, the Dems in the state actually refused to change the state constitution to give them, the legislature, a check on the governor).

As the dreaded c-word has basically run it’s course, the governor – Jay Inslee – continues to make rules and dictate what will happen in the state even though an emergency no longer exists. Nevermind the fact that the “emergency” was over at least a year ago, but now the CDC has basically said that nearly everyone in the US has “immunity” to it. 95% of Americans have had sh0ts or actually had it. As such, they have dropped nearly all precautions instituted/recommended. They even said they basically blew it when it comes to how they responded. The governor, however, has refused to say when he will give up the powers and certainly makes it clear there are no plans to do it any time soon.

Here’s the thing though, the governor (and by extension, Dems in general) don’t want to let go of this “emergency” because it has given them extraordinary, unchecked power to control nearly everything in the daily lives of the population. It has made it easier for them to cancel opposition or put up roadblocks to keep people from questioning their authority.

Folks, this had drug out way too long. There may have been a need at one point, for a short period of time, but this has turned into the most egregarious power grabs in history. Whomever thought allowing a governor to have unchecked powers missed the mark entirely.

Mark my words, there will be more “emergencies” in the near future.

Not gonna do it

The one man show continues. Well, technically it is likely two men, the governor and the top health dude in the state that he appointed. But, that guy can only make recommendations so it really comes down to one guy, Jay Inslee.

He is extending the limits he put in place before Thanksgiving. Of course, he would like to spend his holidays alone because no one likes him anyway, but he wants others to suffer the same fate as himself.

Well, I for one (and many others I know) aren’t gonna do it. Not gonna have it and not gonna participate in it. We shall see our families as we see fit. We shall celebrate as we see fit.

Enough is enough.

It’s been 12 days since Thanksgiving and there has been no significant spike reported. I think that is proof enough that things are under control and the fear-mongering, power hungry governor is out of place. He said, “…we still don’t have a clear picture…,” so this decision is based purely on fear (and little to no data).

Thanksgiving celebrations with family were great, and so will Christmas to.

The governor, well, he will be getting a big fat lump of coal anyway.

Here we go again…

Dear Washingtonians and businesses,

As your governor, I have done my best to ruin you and your lives this year (and, quite frankly, hopefully an hope of a financial future for you too). I have been successful in many aspects, as I have seen thousands of you just up and quit under my rule and rules. Quit your business, quit school, quit life, quit everything.

I am now instating a second, financially destructive lockdown. If you barely survived that last one, congratulations. I was hoping you wouldn’t, but your resilience and perseverance are admirable. I underestimated you, your supporters, and those of you who would dare to question me. I won’t let you succeed and survive this time.

Really, we don’t need the mom and pop shops and restaurants and such. We need big businesses to be more successful so I can tax them and require them to pay higher wages. I am trying so hard to make more people dependent on the state by covering the gaps that I haven’t forced you to cover yet. Financial recovery and actually letting Covid run it’s natural course like the flu isn’t acceptable. Hopefully this is the final and proverbial “last nail in the coffin” for you.

I’ll let you know in three weeks that I am extending the lockdown, just before the new current four weeks is about to expire, for no good reason other than there are lots of sheep who will follow my every word.

Listen, I have won re-election by catering to the extremely liberal, and Socialistic voter base in three counties. I really don’t have to beat around the bush now and pretend that I care about you, because I don’t. This is what’s best for my agenda and that of the Socialist/Communist movement.

Your unquestioning compliance is appreciated.

With my sincerest, insincere vocal tone and look,

Jay Inslee

WA Governor

Mass-debate

It seems the governor of my state hasn’t a clue and he takes every chance he can to prove it. He likes to think he is a climate change expert, but it’s just a poorly veiled attempt to tow the party line of climate alarmists.

Governor Doofus (Jay Inslee) said the other day that the fires in Washington weren’t wildfires but “climate fires.” He blamed them solely on climate change.

Here’s the thing, there are still scientists that are debating the true impact of climate change or whether it even exists. “Proven” science isn’t really, since information can be manipulated to show what you want it to show.

Cliff Mass, a professor of atmospheric science at the University of Washington, says the governor needs to put on the brakes and drive in the other direction. He says the governor’s claims about the fires are flat out wrong. While Mass broadly supports climate change as a whole, he disputes how the information is used and seems to believe that it isn’t always used in a matter that informs the public accurately.

Anyway, I’m sure we’ll hear more about the Mass-debate when the jerk off governor has more to say about climate change and fires.

Unbalanced

Gov race

Local news media’s agenda is showing.

That screen shot above, taken straight from the king5.com website shows a serious and blatant example of bias. This shouldn’t and can’t be acceptable!

Bias? How so?

That pic on the left is actually an older (and younger) photo of the current governor, Jay Inslee. It isn’t his official state picture or campaign photo for this year. That pic on the right is the top Republican challenger, Loren Culp. He is the current police chief in Republic, WA. That pic also isn’t his official campaign photo either.

Why does it matter if neither pic is the official campaign photo? Ask yourself (and be honest) what message is given not so subtly by using the photos they used?

One is just a photo (the one of the left) and the other is playing into mainstream narrative: Republicans, cops, are bad. If he is identified as a cop, then he is bad, …and people won’t vote for him.

Election meddling? Maybe not, but maybe.

Purposeful message? Most likely.

Local news showing bias? Most definitely.

Masks

My idiot governor has now “mandated” the use of masks statewide.

I hate the idea. Many, many, many people hate the idea.

The science is all over the place and if there was no need to do it previously (remember, they told us not to…because they were afraid there would be a shortage but now any old piece of fabric supposedly works) than what is the need now?

Power.

Government officials feel their power slipping away. In this state’s case, its likely an ego stroking for the governor too.

So, here we go.

To mask, or not to mask? That is the question.

To sheep or not to sheep? Also a question.

“News to me”

Uh, excuse me?

This is national news. It has been national news for days. It’s been BIG news in WA for days.

So, the governor says it’s “news to me”? It would appear he REALLY IS AS CLUELESS as he has come across in the past.

OMG!! This guy is the epitome of stupid and his response baffles everyone.

He has already proved he doesn’t actually govern a state so much as dictate over it. His agenda has been busted wide open by his own admission. He has been wrong nearly this entire time when it has come to Covid-19 and how the state operates, and he won’t relent and open the state up for business and livelihoods to recover from his crappy leadership.

Maybe I’ll adopt his response when it comes to following the rules he set.

Wear a mask? “News to me.”

Stay home? “News to me.”

Can’t go to work? “News to me.”

Not supposed to go to certain businesses? “News to me.”

Listen, gov, your feckless leadership should result in an immediate resignation from your office. THAT news would be greeted with exultation by nearly everyone in the state. How about you make that kind of headline?

Politicians being politicians.

Of course, this isn’t a surprise and should be a surprise to anyone, really. But it is infuriating nonetheless.

So, the governor of Washington, Jay Inslee, has decided that he won’t extend the “Stay home, stay healthy” order that expired last night. But, we are still to follow the “phased opening” he and the WA Deparment of Health mapped out previously last month. As such, a full opening of the state and it’s economy isn’t likely to happen until at least mid to late August, provided everything goes perfectly.

Here’s the problem. He has done the politician thing and he is trying to wiggle off the hook for making decisions or taking responsibility for bad decisions going forward. He has put the Secretary of Health in charge of making the decisions from here on out. Essentially, he puts someone else on the hook and if they make a bad decision (like having the ability to decide which counties live or die economically or open up and then have a major outbreak again), he can fire them. Thus, it’s not his responsibility. At least he would like to think that is the case.

Now, I don’t know about you, but to me this smacks of shadiness.

Again, this isn’t much of a surprise considering its Jay Inslee. But, it also concerns the heck outta me! He has put an unelected official, but one he appointed, in charge of making some pretty important decisions. You read that right – unelected. The only individual this person has to report to is the governor himself.

Now, if that doesn’t raise some hackles you might want to check your pulse.

The governor put in charge someone that only answers to the governor and the people have no recourse against. The governor is trying to hid behind the decisions of another person while trying to demonstrate that he is “leading.” And, if things don’t go well from here, well, he can just fire the guy.

Shady, and I don’t mean like a tree.

Just plain shady.

A matter of trust

Last week I said there was a red line that seemed to get farther and farther away because the government seemed to have ulterior motives. I wrote that in the morning on Friday. Friday evening, a report cam out that kinda confirms the suspicions of many who abided by the initial red line and then saw it move.

The governor of Washington, Jay Inslee, keeps moving the red line and the state’s residents are paying the price. Healthy residents are confined to their homes “Stay Home, Stay Healthy), businesses are struggling, cities are becoming insolvent, hospitals (the supposed “front lines”) are furloughing or laying people off. There has been clear evidence of a power grab and then we hear this…

In an interview with Bernie Sanders, Inslee said (starting @ 48:00), “this has always been an economic opportunity … we should not be intimidated by people who say you should not use this COVID crisis to peddle a solution to climate change … we can’t use COVID as an excuse for inaction on climate change … they’re both so similar … based on an understanding of science.” (here is the specific part in a shorter clip)

Um, did you catch that? So, this pandemic is a great opportunity to tear down the economy and start back with green solutions? Yeah, no. Not the time or the place. People are suffering and the pandering to socialist causes isn’t the time to push an agenda either.

Fraud is rampant in unemployment claims when the people could actually be working and providing for their families. There wouldn’t even be a need for unemployment claims if this jackwagon would let people make decisions for themselves instead of using the government to abuse the rights of its citizens.

It’s an issue of trust, and quite frankly no one trusts him. No one trusts that what has been done has been done for the right reasons.

How far are you willing to let them go? You have common sense (assumptions being made here) and you can see how this has gone. Can you take a guess about where it will continue to go? Do you blindly go “like sheep to the slaughter” because you gave “up essential liberty to purchase temporary safety”?
