The morning ritual of shaving (something my face can’t handle on a daily basis so I alternate) has got to be one of the worst forms of torture. Can I just stop hair growth on my face?
For a tiny little razor, it sure makes my face bleed red. How is that possible?
The blades are minuscule, and for the most part they lay flat on my face. I try to keep the angle correct, yet somehow I end up with red spots and scrapes and my face looks like I was attacked by a lawnmower. Those little cuts are just enough to be annoying but not deep enough to be a medical emergency.
Ugh, I hate it. And yet, I don’t really have an alternative. So, the torture continues…every other day.
I had an electric shaver when I was a teenager back in the ’80s. It was one of the better brands, and it was utter garbage. It irritated my face worse than a twin-blade. So I used a razor until just a few years ago. After having read some good things about the newer generations of electric shavers, I decided to try a wet-dry model. I used it with a bit of shaving gel, and I was quite impressed. It gave a smooth, comfortable shave. Now I have a beard, which is another option, but I’ve found keeping it neat and trim is more work than clean shaving.

I had an electric shaver in my earlier years. I found that it plucked more than in shaved. Talk about irritation! LOL I know there really aren’t any great options other than just letting it grow, but that isn’t an option for me. So, I suffer through what has to be done. Some razors are better than others and I have found the current experiment isn’t working as well as the last brand so I’ll be returning to that once these blades are gone.
