I was at a baseball game over the weekend and I was reminded of a blog post on another page. I am re-posting it here for your consideration.
There is nothing more irritating than elevating something to a level that is unwarranted. This is no different.

Piss and Moan 
America was founded on Christian principles. Baseball is as American as apple pie. So, yeah, God bless America belongs in baseball. That’s my view.

There is no doubt that America was founded on Christian principles. I have no problem with the song, per se, because it is a GREAT song. That being said, should it be treated the same as the national anthem (stand, hats off, etc.)?
