Not that serious of a post today.

I am home sick because the office crud has finally caught up to me and I am feeling under the weather.

Headache. Stuffy nose. Run down.

It’s fine, right? I should have gone into work, right?

Anyway, simple post today just to whine about health for a moment.

How about you? Do you tough it out and go to work or do you stay at home the first inkling of a cold?

If I think it may be a cold, I stay home. There’s no sense in going to work and making everyone else sick.

At the first sign, or only after it sets in? That is always the challenge. When is the right time?

The moment I think it’s something other than simple allergies, I stay home. Worst case scenario, I’ve burned a sick day for no reason. I can live with that. The work will be there when I return.

True. I guess I am so used to powering through when I was a teacher (easier to go to work sick, from the kids of course, than get a sub) that I sometimes forget it is probably better to hold back a little now that I am in an office.

If I feel like crap, I’m not going anywhere.

Ah, but do you wait till you feel like crap or do you recognize the crap is coming and preempt it?

IDK. My crap seems to sneak up on me. No time for preemption…šŸ˜–šŸ˜µšŸ¤§šŸ¤’šŸ¤•šŸ¤¢šŸ¤®šŸ˜·šŸ˜ šŸ˜”šŸ¤¬
